Lomar Industries was established in 1984 by Lorenzo van Deventer in Pretoria. The business relocated to Plettenberg Bay in 1991.

Lomar Industries is situated in the Plettenberg Bay Industrial Area.

Lomar Industries consist of three companies, each a specialist in it's own right. The companies are Lomar Manufacturing and Lomar Marble and Granite.
